My wise great-grandfather who owned a grocery shop in Belfast, Northern Ireland used to laugh and scoff at advertisements that say things like “Save 20% now!” He correctly pointed out that if he was not planning on buying the advertised item in the first place, there was no savings whatsoever. Instead, he was out of pocket for 80% of the full retail price of the item.
On the other hand, if you are planning on purchasing something whether it’s on sale or not, taking advantage of a sale price is like earning new money. With this in mind, I just discovered for those that might be flying in Canada any time soon (and travelers all know how trying to save on flight costs right now is job #1) that WestJet Airlines
As well, you can apparently save an additional 10% if you type the word “canada” in the Promo Code box.
Only a couple of days left until July 2nd, but if you know you are going to be traveling before the end of September, then you may want to be booking your trip now.
I like WestJet Airlines
, by the way. I’ve flown with that airline about 12 times since since September 2007, and am always impressed with their service. One great advantage of WestJet Airlines
is their baggage allowance: 2 checked pieces of luggage up to 60 pounds each.
On the other hand, I’ve flown Air Canada twice in the same period of time and was not as impressed with their customer service.

The Wealthy Blogger

The Wealthy Blogger is just a guy who makes money online. I quit my full time job and now I earn a good (some would say very good) income through the amazing medium of the Internet. I know what it’s like to be poor. I know what it takes to drag one’s self up by the bootstraps and keep putting one foot in front of the other to get where you want to go....
Too bad I live in the good ole USA. West Jet seems to be a Canadian airline? Can I fly with them out of Newark?
