I’ve been visiting and reading a number of blogs over the past few weeks, and not all of them have anything to do with becoming wealthy, achieving goals, marketing, etc. Some I very much enjoy while other blogs I visit I respect the time and effort the author put into their blog, but the most recent posts don’t really interest me or grab my attention.


I have however quite enjoyed the writing of Jon, a freelance writer who hails from one of the most beautiful spots on this earth: County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Some readers of The Wealthy Blogger may know from things I’ve written that I originally hail from Northern Ireland myself. I have spent many a happy day in that wee place and have very fond memories. Last year, for the first time in over two decades, I managed to get “home” again, and spent much of my time traipsing around County Antrim, driving, fishing, and enjoying the stunning scenery of the Antrim Coast Road. Ah, if you ever get a chance to visit Ireland, be sure to do so, and make point of making your way along the Antrim Coast Road and perhaps making some detours into the gorgeous Glens as well.

But I digress. I’ve visited Jon’s blog a number of times and have read quite a number of his posts and have very much enjoyed his writing. Perhaps on my next visit to County Antrim, I’ll be able to look him up (believe me, it’s not hard to look up folk in Northern Ireland - even if you don’t know them personally) and hoist a Guiness.. or a Bushmills - assuming he’s not a tea totaler, of course! And if he is, well a cup of tea and good conversation I’m sure will be just fine.
