Receiving 1,000 views on an article, then 10,000 on an article, then believe it or not 100,000. I'm still waiting for the 1,000,000. Granted this wasn't for a blog rather a freelance writing article I wrote. The point is, just taking steps up to what you wish to achieve in reasonable levels. That's how I do it.
